today something happened to me..
i thought that when i left the house it was probably going to be a bad day.. i was right..
left the house with supposedly enough time to get to site but got caught up in the jam firstly.. then the ride was insanely long..
note to self never take 197 to bukit merah.. takes too long..
anyways then next i got off 2 stops too late.. and was 1 hour late for work.. naturally i got told off not really scolded just asked why i was late today by adeline when i went back to the office to do some work first..
anyhow.. at the site.. boss came down the evaluate the site protocols which was abit nerving.. so we went thru the different aspects of the site stuff.. and was asked for imput among other things..
so site ended back to office it started raining as we got out of the van.. bad weather to work.. at least i asked for the noon off :) to settle some stuff..
regular stuff until after lunch.. went to belmoral place there to collect my race pack which was unable to be collected like on sunday when me and jon went.. too many people PLUS it was raining.. so i made a wasted trip to clark quay where the queue was... lack of a better word... FRIGGIN LONG.. not sure when the queue ended tho.. but yea long as i said.. so collected race pack went back to the bus stop.. saw my 960 leaving the bus stop... i thought "curses".. of course you can replace the word with any expletives you can think of.. and i was feeling thirsty.. wanted to go to the 7-11 behind me. but was thinking i would be late for my doctor's appointment if i missed the bus.. then i decided not to..
as i was sitting at the chair coughing the thing happened..
this lady.. probably middle 20s.. asked me if i wanted hacks.. although i declined and told her i had lozenges.. but she was a very nice person.. you usually only find nice people in story books and television.. i never thought they existed in the real world.. its different from giving up your seat to people who need it more.. cos that is just common courtesy.. and much easier to do than offering umbrellas or lozenges.. and there isnt much courteous and much lesser nice people.. of course im one of those nice people but i'm not too keen on strangers.. =\
anyways this made my day and before she went up the bus she said bye to me.. maybe she wanted to flirt with me XD
